Terms of service

Your license, what is included, and the responsibilities that come with using ReelLang.

Last updated: 4 October 2026

1. ReelLang and your purchase

ReelLang is software for recording browser workflows and rendering videos on your computer. These terms cover the ReelLang website, account services and software license. The operator’s details are below.

For purchases through Paddle, Paddle is the merchant of record and authorized reseller. Payment, invoicing and tax handling are provided by Paddle under the Paddle Buyer Terms. These terms describe your use of ReelLang and do not remove your rights under Paddle’s terms or applicable consumer law.

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you purchase for an organization, you must have authority to act for it. Keep your account email accurate and protect sign-in links, activation codes and installation credentials.

2. Your software license

After a successful purchase, you receive a non-exclusive license to use eligible ReelLang releases for your own personal or commercial work, including producing videos for clients. The software is licensed, not sold. Each license is for one person, with 1 activated computer at a time; this is not a shared team or resale license.

You can move a registration by deactivating an old computer in your account before activating a replacement. Stop using the deactivated copy. Deactivation blocks the next online license check; an offline copy may continue until its signed license expires, at most seven days after its last successful check. Existing videos are unaffected.

Do not share or resell your account, license credentials or software archive, bypass licensing or security controls, or reverse engineer the software except where applicable law permits it. Third-party components remain subject to their own notices and licenses.

3. Prices, updates and continued use

The pricing page and checkout show the price, currency, included update period and applicable taxes before you pay. A ReelLang purchase is a one-time payment, not an automatically renewing subscription. Any optional extension of updates requires a separate purchase.

You may continue using releases covered by your license after its update period ends. Later releases require an eligible update period. Continued use does not promise lifetime compatibility with future operating-system versions, browsers or third-party services. A refunded or terminated license no longer grants permission to use the software.

Complimentary access follows the update period and conditions communicated with the grant. It does not create a paid purchase or a cash refund entitlement.

4. Installation and third-party services

Check the supported hardware and software requirements before buying. Installation uses Node.js, Chromium and FFmpeg. Internet access is needed for sign-in, initial download, activation and updates and periodic license checks. The CLI checks at most once a day during normal use and allows up to seven days offline after a successful check. A check never interrupts an ongoing render. This requirement continues after the update period ends. Recording an online website still needs access to that website.

Your coding agent, the websites you record, and optional speech or transcription providers are separate services. Their availability, charges, terms and data practices are their own. ReelLang does not include a subscription to an AI agent or a speech provider.

5. Your content and responsible use

You retain your rights in your scripts, recordings and exported videos. ReelLang does not claim ownership of them. You are responsible for having permission to record, process and publish the websites, personal information, voices, images and other content you use.

Do not use ReelLang for unlawful activity, to infringe others’ rights, to gain unauthorized access, or to disrupt the service. Review generated scripts and videos before running or sharing them, and keep your own backups of important work.

6. Support, refunds and account closure

Use the contact below for support and the refund policy for purchase problems. No specific support response time is promised. We may restrict service access for payment reversals, fraud or material violations of these terms, subject to applicable law. Contact us if you think access was restricted incorrectly.

You can export account information and close your account in account settings. After email verification, deletion is scheduled with a 30-day recovery period. Sign in and explicitly cancel before the deadline to keep your account. Scheduling deletion pauses online access immediately. Permanent closure revokes online license access and removes its sign-in credentials; it does not automatically request a refund or delete files from your computer. See the privacy policy for retained records.

7. Reliability and your legal rights

We aim to provide reliable software, but cannot promise error-free operation, uninterrupted online services or compatibility with every website. Except for express commitments and rights required by law, the software and service are provided as available.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded, limits mandatory consumer remedies, or prevents you from bringing a complaint in a forum available under applicable law. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a problem.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product or legal requirements change and will identify the revised date. Material changes affecting an existing account will be communicated through the service or account email. Changes do not retroactively reduce the purchased license’s update entitlement or your mandatory rights. Keep a copy of the terms that apply to your purchase.
