How to request a refund for a ReelLang purchase.
Last updated: 4 October 2026
Our 14-day first-purchase guarantee
If ReelLang is not right for you, contact us within 14 calendar days of your first license purchase to request a full refund. You can use this satisfaction guarantee once per customer, including after downloading or activating the software. Repeat purchases or a new account do not restart the guarantee.
This is an additional ReelLang promise, not a statement that Paddle automatically guarantees every request. It does not limit any statutory withdrawal, defect or other consumer rights, or more favorable rights under Paddle’s refund policy.
How to ask
Signed-in customers can also ask their agent to submit a help report with topic refund through the optional feedback inbox. Include a purchase reference if available and a brief reason. The server receipt preserves the time we received your request; an unsent local draft does not submit it. A receipt acknowledges the request, not approval or payment of a refund. If the inbox is unavailable, use email or Paddle support below.
Email support@reellang.com from your purchase email address and include your order or transaction reference and a brief description of what did not meet your expectations. A sentence such as “It was not suitable for my workflow” is enough; you do not need to prove a defect or complete troubleshooting first. If you cannot access that email or find your receipt, contact us for help verifying the purchase. Do not send card numbers, passwords or activation credentials.
The date you send your request determines whether it is within the window, even if verification or processing takes longer. Asking for purchase details or feedback does not restrict your statutory rights.
For purchases handled by Paddle, you can also use the support link in your receipt or visit Paddle buyer support. Paddle processes the payment and refund. Approved refunds normally return to the original payment method; processing and bank timing may vary.
Repeat purchases, renewals and misuse
Optional update renewals and repeat license purchases are not covered by the first-purchase satisfaction guarantee. Contact us about an accidental purchase, duplicate charge, technical problem or other concern; we will review the request under the applicable terms and arrange a refund or other remedy where required.
Repeated buying and refunding, including through different accounts, does not create a new satisfaction guarantee. Where there is evidence of deliberate refund abuse, we may decline future purchases or additional discretionary refunds. A previous refund alone is not evidence of abuse. These limits do not override statutory rights or any more favorable rights under Paddle’s policies.
After 14 days
Contact us if the product is faulty, materially different from its description, or you have another purchase problem. We will help investigate and arrange a remedy where required. The 14-day promise is not a deadline for rights that apply for longer under law or Paddle’s policy.
What a refund changes
A refund removes the entitlement associated with that purchase and may revoke online license, download and update access. A fully refunded license no longer permits use of the software, and you must stop using and remove that copy. Offline files are not remotely deleted. Videos you have already created remain yours, subject to the rights in their underlying content.
Refunding an update renewal removes the additional update entitlement; it does not by itself cancel a separately paid base license. You may continue using versions covered by the remaining license.
ReelLang has no automatic subscription to cancel. Closing your account is separate from requesting a refund. Complimentary access has no purchase payment to refund. Nothing here restricts your lawful right to dispute a charge.
